Introduction

The daily routine within the area encourages the children to be actively involved in their learning. Purposeful play experiences are planned around the children’s ideas and interests promoting learning with engages children and challenges their thinking.
Outdoor learning which allows the children to take risks in a safe and secure environment is embedded into our daily routine. This provides the children with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of learning experiences in all weathers. Not only do the children benefit from the fresh air and exercise that comes with outdoor play but it helps develop a healthy appetite, promote sound sleep and develop better physical movement and co-ordination keeping them fit and healthy.
Staff work in partnership with parents /carers to help build on the foundations already built at home. Effective partnership working helps to support and extend learning.
